Yes, they do.
Sandals Resorts International has had a mission to improve the lives of their Caribbean community since the Stewart Family opened their first resort in 1981. The Sandals Foundation was created in 2009 to continue and expand the services started 19 years earlier, it is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The projects they select fall within one of their key areas: Education, Community, and Environment. But, the true beauty of this is Sandals Resorts International pays the management and other overhead expenses of the Foundation which means 100% of financial donations go to the projects and/or supported initiatives.
What I, also, found interesting is that they offer volunteering possibilities to the guest of some of their resorts. They have a program for full-time high school students where they can give back and have fun doing it. The students can earn up to 10 community service hours. Adults can participate in a Scholastic Reading Road Trip where they work with local school children, this program is available during the school session from September to May. Opportunities exist to serve on environmental projects, as well. The Sandals Foundation is the main reason why In-Joy Travel will be offering Sandals, Beaches, and Grand Pineapple to you.
